After retiring after more than 40 years as a litigation attorney, Bill returned to the theatre in 2007. Since then, his favorite roles include Scrooge (A Christmas Carol - Lyric Arts); Norman (On Golden Pond - Gallery); Jack (The Weir - Pioneer Place); Looseleaf Harper (Happy Birthday, Wanda June - Nimbus ); Simms (Sympatico – Theatre in the Round); Old Man Brunner (Old Man Brunner Country - Jon Hassler Theatre) and Grandpa Vanderhof (You Can’t Take It With You - Lyric Arts and Gallery). He had a supporting role in the film, The Current, which played in theatres nationally and internationally, and a lead in The Polar Bear Club, which won the audience favorite award at the Twin Cities Film Fest. He will appear in the 2019 Twin Cities Film Fest in Into the Void in a supporting role.

This is Taylor’s first production working with Wayward Theater and he is super excited to be a part of such a wonderful show performing in such a beautiful space. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a degree in social studies education. He now works as an import customs broker in Eagan and pursues his passion for theatre in the evenings. Credits include; Romeo and Juliet (Mercutio) at Theatre in the Round, Coriolanus (Coriolanus) and The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Proteus) with Shakespeare & Company in White Bear Lake, The Beauty Queen of Leenane (Ray Dooley) with Theatre Pro Rata, and Noises Off! (Gary) at Lakeshore Players Theater. Taylor is also the co-owner of the local theater production company, Mosaic Productions, who just closed An Assembly of Phantasms, a fall double feature of the works of Edgar Allan Poe and the Spoon River Anthologies by Edgar Lee Masters.

Nick is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota, with past theater experience in the Twin Cities in shows with Theatre in the Round Players, Shakespeare & Company, as well as some work local film. He's so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an incredibly talented cast and greater Twin Cities theater community.

Michael is an actor, director, producer, and designer with a degree from Augsburg College. With Wayward, Michael has directed Criminal Genius, Tartuffe, The Weir and Hamlet. Michael held the position of Artistic Director with Pioneer Place Theatre Company directing such productions as Romeo and Juliet, The Seagull, Little Shop of Horrors, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Laughing All the Way. He has also directed for Classical Actors Ensemble (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet), 3AM Productions (Hamlet, Love and War), Magnolia Theatre (Cupid and Psyche). As an actor Michael has worked with Theatre de la Jeune Lune (The Deception), Great River Shakespeare Festival (Pericles, Merchant of Venice), Shakespeare & Company (The Taming of the Shrew, Tartuffe, Macbeth, The Merry Wives of Windsor), The MN Shakespeare Project (Measure for Measure, Merchant of Venice, Twelfth Night), and Mission Theatre (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth, Violent Delights, Titus Andronicus, Much Ado About Nothing). He has also served on the board of Classical Actors Ensemble and Mission Theatre. In his spare time, Michael loves to play softball, noodle on his guitar, cook, woodwork, annoy his awesome wife Leah, and play poker.

Sarah Nargang is a producer, director and actress as well as a co-founder of Wayward Theatre. Sarah graduated Magna Cum Laude with her degree in Theatre with a core focus in directing from Augsburg University and has studied with LISPA in Berlin where her focus was devised theatre, Lecoq and neutral mask. Sarah's local work includes Children's Theatre Company's Bridges Program - using storytelling as a vehicle for critical literacy, InterAct Theatre where she also works as a teaching artist, The Jungle, directing for Swandive Theatre, Mission Theater, Paul Bunyan Playhouse, Pioneer Place on Fifth and many more. Sarah was the Director of Operations for many years at a midsize company, honing her skills at running a business before jumping off the deep end and starting her own retail business, Never Knock Goods. When not hanging with her cohorts, Tim McVean and Mike Kelley, Sarah can be found riding horses and trying to make her partner, Brent, giggle.

Lucas is so very pleased to be taking part in his third show with Wayward, having previously appeared in Tartuffe, and The Weir. He has also performed with Classical Actor’s Ensemble, Theatre in the Round, Shakespeare & Company, and Mission Theater. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in theater from Macalester College.

This is Tristan’s first time being a part of a production at Wayward Theatre and he’s been having a great time! He is 10 years old, homeschooled, and lives in Wyoming, Minnesota. Tristan began acting when he was 6 yrs old and has worked with Festival Theatre in Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin. He he is very grateful for his experience, and continues to stay connected with the Festival Theatre community. “Acting is one of my favorite things to do because I love meeting new people and memorizing lines,'' says Tristan. “When I’m not acting, I freestyle ski, alpine race, and water ski with the Midwest Ski Otters.” He also enjoys hanging out with friends, Kendama, reading, improv, ukulele, comedy, and music. His favorite Broadway show/music is Hamilton.

Alex is a recent graduate of Concordia University-St. Paul where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and a Minor in Dance. He is a dancer / actor / choreographer / director and is excited to be apart of Wayward Theatre’s production of Macbeth at the James J Hill House.

Edwin is delighted to be working with Wayward Theatre Company once again, having performed Ghost/Gravedigger in Hamlet, Finbar in The Weir, and Saul Hodgkin in Ghost Train with this wonderful company. In the 28 years that Edwin Strout has been performing in the Twin Cities theater community, he has worked with over 44 different theater companies in over 100 roles. Most recently, he has performed as Bob in Caught for Full Circle Theater; Robert Hooke in Isaac’s Eye for Theatre Pro Rata; Quince/Egeus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Park Square Theater; Armin in Equivocation for Walking Shadow Theatre. Upcoming: Mayor Nelson in Not In Our Neighborhood with History Theatre.

Avi is excited to be back with Wayward Theatre after previously performing in Kaleidoscope and Tartuffe, and most recently won a 2019 Fringe Festival Golden Lanyard Award for his one-man, self-written show Operation: Immigration. He has appeared at multiple theaters around the Twin Cities such as: Guthrie Theatre / Transatlantic Love Affair, Park Square Theatre, Theatre Latte Da, MN Jewish Theatre, The Playwright's Center, Pillsbury House Theatre, Stages Theatre Co., Classical Actor's Ensemble, as well as The Guild Theatre in Israel. Coming up he can be seen in The Norwegians with Dark & Stormy Productions, and Sunset at Midnight touring around Minnesota.

Grant is thrilled to be making his debut with Wayward Theatre Company! He was last seen in Gremlin Theatre's production of Dial M for Murder. Previous credits include Don't Dress for Dinner (Gremlin Theatre); REVOLT. SHE SAID. Chase is a director and actor in the Twin Cities, excited to be back with Wayward and back in the James J Hill House after performing in Wayward's Hamlet. After graduating from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2017, Chase has kept himself involved as an educator, director, and actor - including work with SteppingStone Theatre, Young Artists Initiative, Nova Classical Academy, Cromulent Shakespeare, Gustavus Adolphus College Department of Theater and Dance, and a slew of projects with in the Minnesota Fringe Festival. Thanks to the cast and crew for another incredible found-space experience and thanks to you all for supporting local artists by coming to see the “Scottish Play”!

Samantha is happy to be working on her third show with Wayward, and her second at the James J. Hill House. Previous Wayward credits include Dorine in Tartuffe and Julia in The Ghost Train. She also regularly performs with Classical Actors Ensemble in other plays by Shakespeare and his contemporaries, including well-known classics like Much Ado About Nothing, Romeo & Juliet, and As You Like It, and lesser-known but just-as-good plays like Arden of Faversham, Women Beware Women, and The Roaring Girl. She is also a co-host of Probably Improbable, a podcast where she jokes about folklore with her college bestie Carly Swenson. Samantha has two cats and a Shakespeare husband who calls her out on scansion and inspires her to be a better actor every day.

Aaron is excited to be making his debut with Wayward Theatre. He has been performing in the Twin Cities for the last four years and has worked with Yellow Tree Theatre, Stages Theatre, Minnetonka Theatre and as Charlie Brown in A Charlie Brown Christmas at SteppingStone Theatre. Aaron also does commercial and voice over work.

Tina is incredibly grateful to be back with Wayward as a Weyard, her prior outing as Gertrude in Hamlet. Other credits: Romeo & Juliet at Park Square, The Three Musketeers, Deathtrap, Richard III, and 11 other shows at Theatre in the Round, Macbeth, Henry V, and The Front Page with Pigs Eye Theatre, and shows with Joking Apart Theatre, MN Shakespeare Project, Starting Gate, Gremlin, and more. To help alleviate our Climate Crisis, Tina is a Master Gardener for Ramsey County and works at The Ponds at Battle Creek Golf Course, where she has positively identified our state bee, the endangered Rusty Patched Bumble Bee. Macbeth is Meg’s fourth show with Wayward Theatre. Prior to traveling the heath with the thanes, she frolicked throughout the twin cities with the company in Hamlet, Far Away, and Mixtape. Previously, she’s worked with Classical Actors Ensemble (As You Like It, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Love's Labour's Lost), and with Bloomington Civic Theatre (Les Miserables, On the Town, Sunday in the Park with George, My Fair Lady). Megan gets her juice from her best friend and partner in adventure, Jordan, from her fierce female family, and from her sweet sweet fuzzies, Shadowfax (cat) and Moody (pup). Most days Meg identifies as a witch, and finds it extremely convenient to have this opportunity to share that side of herself with you all. Alessandra is an actor, director, and theatre maker based in the Twin Cities, and is excited to combine two of her favorite things: Shakespeare and site-specific theatre! Some recent performing credits include: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (BARd Shakes), Caesar Maximus (We Players), Argonautika (Guthrie Theatre), and Romeo & Juliet (BARd Shakes). On the production side of things she worked as assistant director on Into the Woods (Ten Thousand Things), and is currently serving as producer, assistant director, and performer on a site-specific adaptation of The Seagull (in collaboration with TigerLion Arts), coming fall of 2020. Alessandra is a graduate of the University of Minnesota/ Guthrie Theatre BFA Actor Training Program where she also had the opportunity to perform at the Globe Theatre in London. She’s passionate about the intersections of social justice and theatre, and working critically with classic texts in pursuit of better representation and accessibility. Kip is a local actor, singer and improv comedian in the Twin Cities. He performs regularly with Stevie Ray’s improv Company at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater, and has been in some other stuff too. When not freezing to death in his unheated room, he enjoys thinking about stupid things and working in the designer handbags department at Nordstrom MOA. He has all his shots.

Tim is thankful and humbled to be able to be back working with Wayward Theatre on this incredible production of Macbeth, having appeared as Claudius in Hamlet with Wayward at the James J. Hill House last year. Tim earned his BA in Theatre from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio (1994), and his MFA in Acting from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio (1997). He then co-founded and served as Executive Director for the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, which celebrated its 22nd season this past summer. You may have seen him onstage recently in White Bear Lake at Lakeshore Players Theatre in One Man, Two Guvnors, or at Shakespeare & Company, Minnesota’s longest running outdoor classical repertory theatre, where he recently celebrated his 21st season in the company, appearing as Falstaff in The Merry Wives of Windsor. Tim would like to thank the “Wayward Three” for their passion, dedication, and the trust they placed in him. Lastly, he would like to thank his parents, Tim and Colleen, who have supported his theatrical pursuits over the last 35 years.

Kim Greene is delighted to make her debut with Wayward Theatre Company. She returned to acting on stage three years ago and has performed with a variety of Twin Cities theater groups. Some of her favorite roles include Rachel Arbuthnot in A Woman Of No Importance, Evelyn Briggs in Independence, Bev/Kathy in Clybourne Park and Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest. In addition to stage work, Kim has appeared in 16 Independent films including feature films Dragonfly and Edge of Insanity. She has the privilege of working with MN Crisis Intervention Team role playing mental illness scenarios with police officers. Kim is grateful to her husband Cliff for his love and support.

Laila is a graduate of Luther College in Decorah, IA, and is thrilled to be in her first production with Wayward Theatre Company. Her recent credits include Artificial (Hercules Theatre Company), Evita (Lyric Arts), As You Like It (21/40 Productions), and Elephant’s Graveyard (St. Croix Festival Theatre). In addition to Macbeth, Laila is part of the cast of Walking Shadow Theatre Company’s Cabal, which is also running this fall. Laila is grateful to have been a part of this team and to be a part of telling this story.

Ash attended Concordia University-St. Paul and graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre in 2018. She recently finished working on the production team with the show Dirty Business at the History Theatre. Her most recent acting roles have been in the ensemble of First Comes Love, Colleen in Kingdom Come, Dr. Livingstone in Agnes of God, Irene in Crazy for You, Mrs. Boeuf in Rhinoceros, Masha in The Seagull, and more. She would like to express her deepest gratitude to Bradley Mariska, Mark Rosenwinkel, Elizabeth Strieff, her parents Thomas and Kimberly Martini, for their never ending support and love, her sister, Jackie Martini, for the long nights of reading lines with her, and last but not least, she would like to give her love to her fiance, Matthew Gorden, for pushing and believing in her.

Emily is an actor and writer from Northeast Minneapolis. A graduate of Macalester College, she has appeared locally in The Hound of Chulainn with Six Elements Theatre, Say It Loud's adaptation of Revolt of the Beavers for the MN Fringe Festival, and 21/40's production of As You Like It. Most recently, she completed an acting intensive at the Atlantic Acting Studio in New York City. Catch her next in The BAND Group's production of The Madwoman of Minneapolis in winter 2020.

Mackenzie is dipping her toes into the classical tragedy waters in this production. Generally a musical comedy actor, Mackenzie’s past roles include Holly in The Wedding Singer, the Sour Kangaroo in Seussical the Musical, Velma Kelly in Chicago, and Eddie/Dr. Scott in The Rocky Horror Show. She currently uses her vocal talents on KVSC’s Granite City Radio Theater and can be seen around the Twin Cities jam-a-lammin’ as the lead singer of her ‘90s cover band, Fistful of Datas (most often at the 331 Club).

Meghan Sherer is a soprano with a degree in Vocal Performance from Augsburg University. She has performed regularly with Wayward as part of the house band for their Mixtape storytelling series, and her second time appearing in a Wayward theatrical production. She appreciates the chance to get gussied up and use 40's slang on the regular.

Steven is an alumnus of the Perpich Center for Arts Education in Golden Valley, Minnesota. He earned a B.A. in music and a minor in art history from the University of Minnesota-Duluth where he studied solo and collaborative piano with Tracy Lipke-Perry. At UMD, he received extensive musical training through supplemental elective coursework in piano pedagogy, musicology, music theory, and composition. He was highlighted with the UMD Symphony orchestra as the winner of UMD’s 12th Annual Concerto and Aria competition. He received his Master’s degree in piano performance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he studied with Venezuelan concert pianists Elena Abend and Judith Jaimes. His studies in piano pedagogy at UWM was led by Margaret Otwell. An adventurous and dynamic performer, Zubich enjoys an exciting career as a solo and collaborative pianist, performing a colorful variety of styles and genres in repertoire including antique and new music. Zubich also serves as the Managing Director for the Northern Lights Music Festival, one of Minnesota’s largest, since 2018.
